Late Night

Last night was a late night. As the boys went off to the Bachelor party, some of the girls came over to my parent's. A couple of my mom's friends were here as well.

We wrapped all of the napkins for the tables with ribbon and put a little sucker in them for decoration. When we finished that, Lauren, Michelle, Kimberly and I headed over to our apartment to check it out. We hung out there talking for a while and they even helped me pick out what I was going to wear to everything.

After we left there we came back to my parent's house. Lauren and Michelle went home and Kimberly stayed and hung out. We worked on the slideshow for the wedding, the table arrangements, and finding things for the Bridesmaid Luncheon.

We had a great time, and before we knew it, it was very late. Now I am up early and a little tired, but I have a number of things that need to get done this morning. Many exciting times will happen today and I can't wait for everything to begin!

Hump Day!!

It's Wednesday, and that means we are halfway through the week!

Not too much accomplished today. Went to work and at lunch time met Billy and George at Ninfa's. We went over the table arrangements for the Rehearsal Dinner and then had lunch. I went back to work and then headed back to my parent's house.

I finished printing and folding all of the programs and began to work on the song sheets. We cleaned up around the house and I worked on clearing and cleaning my room. I think I cleared some stuff out but it looks even messier then before.

Tomorrow I am working a half day and then people will start coming in town! I am so excited and can't wait for the next couple of days.

Few Days TUESDAY

There are only a few days left until the wedding!

Today I went into work for awhile, even though I am usually off on Tuesdays. I figured since I am taking off part of Thursday and all of Friday, I should probably go in and work a little. Before heading off to work, I loaded up my car with some more of my stuff (it seems never ending). I went to the apartment at lunch time to drop it all off and to grab something to eat. I don't know how all our things are going to fit into a one bedroom apartment :/

I continued to print a few programs, but once I hit 80- my printer ran out of ink. I need to go to a different computer and print the rest, but I just have not gotten around to it.

This evening I have been working on the slideshow that will be going on during the reception - if I can get it to work. So hopefully I can get that on a DVD and over to the reception site soon,

Billy has been busy during the past few days as well. He has gone to the dentist, gotten a haircut, and even hung out in the sun today to get some sort of a tan. He also has done some maintenance things for the apartment and helped his parents get their house ready for their guests.

EXCITING NEWS - for us at least.
We have had a few people call last minute to let us know that they will now NOT be able to attend the reception. This really stinks because we had to turn our final number in last Tuesday. I emailed the coordinator at Houston National, just to check to see if we could change the number, and she said YES! This is very exciting as it will save a bit of money,

On tomorrow's list we have to get the table assignments down and write the table cards out. We also need finish the programs, print out the song sheets, and pull everything together for the Big Day!

It is quickly approaching! I can't wait for everyone to start getting into town!!!

Program Printing

Currently I am sitting on my computer printing all of our programs. It is very time consuming, but at least I am able to do some other things while I am printing them.

Earlier tonight my mom and I finished doing all the favor boxes. We have now shredded paper for the boxes, loaded them with candy, tied ribbons with a note to them, and placed a sticker on them. They are packed in a box and ready to be taken to the reception site.

While Billy and I were at Young Life, my mom put together the out of town "Welcome" bags for the out of town guests. They are so cute and full of goodies like chips, cookies, water, gum, candy, and healthy snacks. They are in coral bags with pink and orange paper and pink ribbon. I am so excited for our guests to get them.

OH! I almost forgot. This morning we went and got our marriage license from the county clerk's office. Now we can really get married.

Our DJ called me today as well. He walked through the whole timeline with me and went over the different requests we have. I am very confident that everything will run smoothly with him running the show.

I guess it is time to write a few more thank-you notes while I am waiting for the programs to print. Tomorrow should be a productive day as well since I am only going into work for a little bit.

5 Days until I am Mrs. Hartford!!

Sunday- 6 days to go!

This was supposed to be posted yesterday. . .

Today was another tournament day at work so I was up there until about 4pm. Afterwards I headed back to my parent's house to see what needed to be done. We worked on doing a few more favors and then we just relaxed.

Billy came over and we opened a few of the gifts we received. We decided we wanted to go ahead and open then so we can begin writing thank you notes. We then headed over to Billy's parent's house for dinner. They had their neighbors over so we got to look at their wedding and honeymoon pictures (they got married this past fall). We had a great time!

Billy and I then went through a bunch of his stuff and decided what was going to the apartment, and what was not. We then loaded up his car with his things. We went back to my parent's to get a few of my things loaded up as well. When we got there my mom showed me an addition she was making to the favor boxes. She got stickers with our picture printed on them and put them on the boxes. It just adds a little more personal touch and we loved it. Billy and I then went to the apartment to unload and organize more of our stuff.

Tomorrow we have a few more things to get done. We have made a checklist and are trying to get as many things marked off as we can.

The 1 Week Countdown

We are down to the final week! I am going to post everyday to keep updated on the week of process before the Big Day.

Today I worked until 3:30. I came home and then went to hang out at a Young Life event. Billy was there as well and we had a great time.

I am now working on finalizing and printing the programs for the ceremony. We have the layout, we are just checking for typos and filling in blanks. We still have a few more favors to finish up, so my parents and I will continue to work on that.

I have confirmed our wedding night hotel stay and made my nails/toes appointment for the day before the wedding. I emailed the DJ all of our requests and time lines and emailed the florist about a few last minute details.

All of the planning is done, so now we are just confirming everything and straightening out a few details. I can't believe that in 7 days Billy and I will be married!!!

Tomorrow I am working again then I am going to try and pack up some more of my room to take over to our apartment. We can't wait to move in soon! Everything is set up, we just need a few more things and we need to bring our clothes, toiletries, etc. over.

It is now time to get some much needed rest, so I will post another update tomorrow evening!

10 Days . . .

OMG! Only 10 more days and I will be married!!! We are getting very excited and making sure all the preparations are made. We have met with all of the vendors and the reception site and the church and all items are in place.

We are doing all the little last minute things like putting favors together and tying ribbons on napkins. We have moved most of our things into our new apartment and are excited to be living together soon!

We are kind of in crazy mode thinking about everything, but we are ready to go. It will be here before we know it!
